During our organisational works and cataloguing of the Lepidoptera funds deposited in the collections of Entomology of the National Museum of Natural Sciences, in Madrid (Spain) under the name “exotic”, we have been able to locate the material that Kheil studied from Spanish Guinea (at present Republic of Equatorial Guinea), as well as the type material of the species that he described and that were “lost”, that is: Liptena bolivari Kheil, 1905 (Lycaenidae); Stracena bolivari Kheil, 1909, Marbla azami Kheil, 1909 (Erebidae: Lymantriinae); Aiteta escalerai Kheil, 1909 (Nolidae) and Acidalia displicitata Kheil, 1909 (Geometridae). This has allowed us to fix the Typus by monotype and to designate the corresponding Lectotypus.
