Open Access Policy

SHILAP Revista de lepidopterología endorses the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), whose mission is to support the wider exchange of knowledge globally by enabling research to be open to the public in the content of scientific publications and to make it freely available in full text on the Internet, with no time embargoes and with editorial production costs not passed on to the authors.

Furthermore, SHILAP Revista de lepidopterología does not charge authors for the evaluation, correction, editing, publication and distribution of published works in Open Access indexing services and in the different repositories that use Open Archive Initiative - Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI - PMH) protocols.
