Amastus gilvus Köhler, 1924, another mistake of labeling (Lepidoptera: Erebidae)

In this study a new synonymy is proposed for Amerila bauri Möschler, 1884: Amastus gilvus Köhler, 1924 syn. n. The holotype♀of A. gilvus was mistakingly labeled as coming from Misiones, Argentina. The specimen is in fact A. bauri, with a Paleotropical distribution. This error shows the importance of good labeling of biological collections.
