List of the Lepidoptera type material deposited in the Hayk Mirzayans Insect Museum (HMIM), Iranian Research Institute of Plant Protection (IRIPP) (Insecta: Lepidoptera)

Type material of the Lepidoptera collection housed at the Hayk Mirzayans Insect Museum (HMIM) is listed in its entirety. The present catalogue covers a list of 36 species and 47 subspecies, belonging to 18 families, 33 subfamilies and 50 genera, mostly with Iranian type localities. Full citation of the original description of each species is also provided. The treated families contain 22 Holotypes, 507 Paratypes and 8 Allotypes.
