The description of Stomopteryx jeppeseni Karsholt & Sumpich, sp. n. is presented. The description is based on a large series of specimens originating from Andalusia in southern Spain. The newly described species is morphologically most similar to S. lusitaniella Corley & Karsholt, 2014, but due to different coloration of the wings they are easily distinguishable. Photos of the adults and genitalia of both sexes are given.
