Los Noctuoidea de la Sierra de Taibilla y la Reserva Natural de la Sierra de las Cabras (Albacete-Murcia, España) II (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae)

Abstract

The Noctuidae fauna of Sierra del Taibilla and Sierra de las Cabras Natural Reserve (Albacete-Murcia, Spain) includes 221 species divided into 13 subfamilies, of which the most important are Cucullinae (6 species), Oncocnemidinae (9), Heliothinae (6), Bryophilinae (9) and Noctuinae (163), with tribes as Hadenini with 20 species, Xylenini with 34 or Noctuini with 49. This fauna shows a Mediterranean influence (62% of the total), distributed between Atlantic-Mediterranean (34.4%) and Asiatic-Mediterranean (27.6%) elements. The Euroasiatic influence is also high (24.4%), while endemic species account for 2.7% of all species. The endemic species are Metopoceras albarracina, Cucullia achilleae, Cryphia lusitanica, Hadena nevadae, etc. Other interesting species because they are little known in the Iberian Peninsula are Omia cyclopea, Amphipyra cinnamomea, Amphipyra tetra, Anthracia ephialtes, Apamea syriaca, Coenobia rufa, Chortodes dulcis, Conistra daubei, Mythimna languida, Dichagyris imperator, Euxoa wagneri, Chersotis elegans, Standfussiana dalmata, Spaelotis senna, Eugnorisma arenoflavida, etc.
